Yesterday I went on a trip to girly heaven – a store called kosmetik4less. It’s actually an online shop, but they also have a store in Rosengarten near Hamburg. As soon as I found out about that, I asked two friends who love cosmetics just as much as I do and went on a train to Rosengarten.
Here’s what I got!
First thing I got is a brush set from Real Techniques called the duo-fiber collection. It includes three limited edition brushes:
- duo-fiber face brush: for lightweight application
- duo-fiber contour brush: for controlled contouring and sculpting
- duo-fiber eye brush: for finishing touches to the eye
The synthetic bristles are cruelty free and work with any types of products – creamy, powdery or liquid. They feel so soft! These are my first real techniques brushes and I’m really excited to try them out π
Next thing I got is this creamy duo eyeshadow by Sleek. It’s called Molten Metal and I got it in the color 714 (on the left: Pewter, on the right: Gold Leaf). The pigmentation is AMAZING!! They almost look like gold foil on your eyelids – I’m in love π Here’s a swatch (which is not complete true to color unfortunalety, sorry about that):Β
Speaking of Sleek: I bought another eyeshadow palette π It’s the i-Diving palette “ultra mattes V2 – darks”.Β
Then I got the “Knot Free Flare Short Black” lashed by lenilash and the DUO Individual Lash Adhesice to attach them to my eyelids.Β
Here’s what they look like when I put them on on my upper lash line:
Next thing I bought are two pencils by BarryM. One of them is the Shimmering Eye and Lip Crayon in the color 1. It makes a great base for eyeshadows! It comes off in a very light kind of creamy-golden color – it looks gorgeous. Even though this crayon can be used on your lips as well, I don’t think this color would be very suitable for that π The other one is a white kohl pencil. I’m very picky when it comes to the consistency of kolh pencils when I plan to apply them on my waterline… But this one is so easy to apply! It’s very creamy and so easy to put on, I’m very pleased π
The next and last thing I got are two nail polishes.Β The red one by BarryM has a matt finish to it. I’ve already tried it, it’s very easy to apply, you only need one layer because it covers really really well and it dries amazingly fast! I got it in the color 2 – Crush.
The other nail polish is the color “All a flutter” from the line “On the horizon” by China Glaze. It is basically a clear nail polish with little light-blue, yellow and white sprinkles in it. It is kind of cute when you put it on – but to be honest, I don’t really know when or where to wear this. It kind of reminds me of cupcakes though – so I might invite some friends over to bake cookies and cupcakes and cookies and I’ll probably wear it for that π It was a very spontaneous purchase – just because I was curious π
Well guys – that’s it! Wow, that was a lot of stuff. To give you a impression of what my friends and I bought alltogether, we unpacked all our purchases in the restaurant we went to afterwards – people around us were kind of amused and the waitress asked if she might come with us the next time π So to sum it up: we had a fun and very girly day π
